Since 2002 Top Gear a famous TV program is being co-presented by Richard Hammond. He is a famous presenter in British television and radio media. Richard’s nick name “Hamster” is also the sign of his popularity. He got this nick name just because of his size. December 19, 1969 is the date of birth of Richard Hammond. He was born in Solihull. His origin is West Midlands.

In Solihull School he was known as a best student. He started his college in 1987 from Harrogate college of Arts and Technology. He studied in Visual Communications from this college and got his National Diploma in BTEC. He moved to the North Yorkshire with his family in 1980 to start his business.

In MPH show of motors which was organized in Birmingham NEC and Earls Court, he presented live “Top Gear” with the help of co-hosting by Jeremy Clarkson and James May. Brainiac Science Abuse has been also presented by him. He is working as a weekly columnist for the Daily Mirror and John Part is also his colleague there. These days he is presenting some famous TV programs like Richard Hammond’s Engineering Connections, British game show, Total Wipeout and Richard Hammond’s Blast Lab with John.

Amanda Etheridge is the wife of Richard Hammond and he got his marriage in May 2002. He has two daughters named as Willow and Isabella. They are currently living in London. Hammond is very much fond of motorcycling. During the shooting of film Top Gear in September of 2006, he got a serious injury of brain but recovered soon till the January 2007. During his treatment it was diagnosed that he has also vitiligo disease which is now can be seen on his legs and face.
